The Heartland Community Credit Union is a non-profit association dedicated
to serving your financial needs. Chartered in 1958, your credit
union has grown through the years to become an important factor in the
financial lives of its members. Your credit union is totally owned by its
members and is managed and operated by a professional staff with guidance
of a seven member Board of Directors elected by the membership. All income
of the credit union is returned to members in dividends and lower interest
rates after expenses and reserves have been satisfied. You have complete
access to your accounts (anytime via Home Banking, a visit to the credit
union, or a telephone call.)
To Join...Any eligible Add link to zip codes, SEGs, etc. person - plus any
member of his or her family by blood or marriage may join by investing a
minimum of $25 in a credit union share (savings) account and paying a $1
fee. Membership entitles you and those you love to the full range of credit
union services.
Something Better Than Checking...Your credit union offers share draft
accounts, the credit union movement's improved version of traditional bank
checking. You use the personalized drafts just like checks, but there are
no "per check" charges. In addition, your account can have built-in
overdraft protection.
Also, your share draft account can be used with our HCCU Debit Card, by
signature or PIN, anywhere Visa is accepted and at thousands of free and
low-cost ATMs.)
